The Excel Boat Club is pleased
to offer individual or corporate
guided fishing excursions on Lake Minnetonka with some of the best guides on the lake! Our guides are multi-species anglers who will take you fishing for Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Walleye, and
Panfish. Whatever you want to catch they will take you to the spot!
All guide boats are tournament style fishing machines! Rods, reels, tackle, bait, and all safety equipment is provided. You can just show up at the Excel Marina with whatever beverages and food you wish to bring and start your fishing adventure.
Lake Minnetonka is rated as one of the top ten Largemouth Bass fisheries in the country. Northern Pike fishing is phenomenal and the elusive Walleye is no match for our guides!
Two people and one guide per boat is a standard trip. Some of our guides can take three people plus guide. Our guides not only take you fishing but they give customers an insight as to how to fish Minnetonka. By using state of the art electronics and their knowledge of the lake you'll get a mini-seminar as well! Minnetonka is not only a diverse fishery but a diverse lake as well. Fishing Minnetonka is like fishing a number of lakes on one body of water. The structure and contour varies quite a bit from the Upper to the Lower lake.
We
specialize in corporate trips
for up to thirty people using a number of qualified guides. Large group outings can be a lot of fun. We turn them into non-competitive 'fishing tournaments'. The Excel Boat Club staff will work with event coordinators to turn a group fishing outing into a memorable trip for all!
Pontoon Boats can also be used for fishing excursions. Groups of up to twelve people can fish together on one boat. We provide rods, reels, tackle, bait, Captain and Guide. Beverages and great food can be catered through either the
Bayview Event Center or St. Albans Bay Boathouse restaurants.
